Today we received a message from Emmanuel. The sun has been blazing relentlessly for two weeks now. To escape the heat, Emmanuel sits with his one-year-old son under a tree (which was planted and cared for with the help of Kitii Tenebo) and tells us about it.

It hasn't rained at all for two months. The longed-for rain hasn't come.

When asked if there is currently enough water in Ildepen, he explained that despite the installed tanks, some families are walking up to 7-8 km to fetch water.
